Media Studio is a platform to manage, measure, and monetize your videos on Twitter.

What is Producer?
Producer is a feature that allows publishers to launch professionally-produced live broadcasts on Twitter directly from Media Studio.
How do I create a Source?
1. Click the "Sources" tab
2. Click "Create Source" at the top-right of the tool
3. Enter the required fields in the window that appears
- Source name
- Source type
- Region (pick the region that is closest to your stream origin location)
4. Click "Create"
How do I create a Broadcast?
Make sure you create a Source before attempting to create a Broadcast.
1. Click the "Broadcast" tab
2. Click "Create Broadcast" at the top-right of the tool
3. Enter the required fields in the window that appears:
- Name
- Tags (select up to two categories per broadcast)
- Source
4. Open up the "Advanced Settings" if you need to enable any of these features:
- Disabling hearts and chat
- Latency mode (high or low)
5. Begin pushing video from your encoder to your Source, and see that the Preview player will show this video.
6. Click "Publish Now" to create your Broadcast with the live video being pushed to the associated Source.
How do I download Broadcasts I've created in Producer?
Broadcasts are downloadable via the download data option available in the Twitter mobile app.
To download your data, please follow these steps:
If you're logged into Twitter on web:
- Click your profile icon in the top right navigation bar.
- Select "Settings and privacy" from the drop-down menu.
- From the menu on the left, click "Your Twitter data".
- Enter your password and click "Confirm".
On Twitter for Android or iPhone:
- Go to your account settings.
- Underneath your "Personalization and data settings", you’ll see a link to "Your Twitter data".
- Click "Your Twitter data".
- You can also send a request for additional account information to our privacy form.
If you don't have a Twitter account, go to Twitter.com and click "Settings" at the bottom of the page. From there, you can access your "Personalization and Data settings", as well as "Your Twitter data".
Access and login
How do I access Media Studio?
Media Studio can be accessed at studio.twitter.com.
Please note that you will be redirected to log into your Twitter account before you can access studio.twitter.com. Media Studio is not yet widely available, but can be used for free by allowlisted users.
What media is available in Media Studio?
All of your media (video, GIFs, and images) will be available to you in Media Studio. This includes all media previously uploaded via video.twitter.com, any media that was Tweeted directly from the associated Twitter account, and any new media uploaded via the Media Studio dashboard.
How do I grant account access to other users?
Account administrators can grant either full or limited access via the “Edit access to account” link included in the account drop-down menu. Learn more about multi-user login.
How do I switch between different accounts I manage?
If you’ve been granted access to more than one account, you can easily select which one to use. To switch between accounts, simply click the drop-down menu from the name of the current account you're managing (located in the upper right on the Studio navigation bar) and select the account you want to switch to.

Does Media Studio have video length and/or size limits?
Media Studio supports standard Twitter video length limits. At this time, self-serve advertisers are not able to exceed this length.
How do I upload media assets (i.e. videos, GIFs, images)?
Media can be uploaded by clicking the "Upload media" button on the Library tab of the Media Studio tool. Uploads require a strong Wi-Fi connection, and assets must follow our specs.
Can I use a YouTube video?
In order to provide the best user experience, we require that all videos are uploaded and hosted by Twitter. The same video that was uploaded to YouTube can also be uploaded to Twitter (provided you own the video), but you cannot reuse the YouTube URL with the Twitter video player.
Can I use my own video player?
No, Media Studio requires the use of the native Twitter video player.

Creating Tweets and managing videos
Can I edit media I've uploaded to Media Studio?
No, Media Studio does not currently have any editing capabilities.
How do I Tweet media assets (i.e. videos, GIFs, images)?
Media assets can be Tweeted by identifying and selecting the desired asset in your Media Studio library, and then clicking the blue "Compose Tweet" button.
Can I set the title and description that people see in my video Tweet?
Yes, the title and description can be edited via the "Upload", "Edit", and "Compose" pages. These fields are optional and can be left blank if necessary.
Can I include advertising on my video?
At this time, we do not allow non-amplify partners to include advertising in their videos. Learn more about the Twitter Amplify Publisher Program.
Which analytics are tracked?
Media Studio partners will be able to access the Video Analytics Dashboard via the "Analytics" tab of the Media Studio tool. Some examples of the analytics tracked include, but are not limited to the following:
- Video starts
- Retention rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Completion rates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
- Total minutes viewed
- Call-to-action clicks
Can I use third-party analytics services?
No, we do not support third-party analytics integrations for Media Studio.
Can I delete a media asset I've uploaded?
Yes, you can delete a media asset by clicking the trash can icon found at the bottom of each thumbnail included in your library.
How do I schedule a Tweet?
To schedule a Tweet, start by clicking the blue "Compose" button. From there, the compose sheet will open and allow you to click the schedule icon (next to the "Tweet" button) and set the appropriate date and time. Learn more about scheduling Tweets.
How do I remove a scheduled Tweet before it goes live / posts?
To remove a scheduled Tweet, simply go to the "Creatives" > "Tweets" > "Scheduled Tweets" page, locate the Tweet you want to remove, and click the delete icon (which appears in the upper right-hand corner of each scheduled post when selected).
Can I delete a media asset I've already Tweeted?
Yes, you can delete a media asset after it has been Tweeted. This can be done by clicking the trash can icon found at the bottom of each thumbnail included in your library. If you're deleting an already Tweeted media asset, we recommend that you also delete the Tweet from Twitter; otherwise people will receive an error saying that the media asset cannot be viewed/played.
